We’re DualEntry. We’re looking for a part-time Chief Financial Officer Advisor to collaborate closely with our co-founders on revolutionizing mid-market accounting with AI.

About DualEntry:

Our Founders started their previous company after meeting in Computer Science class. With just $2,000 in savings, the two bootstrapped the company to $25 million in ARR - and profitably - in just 5 years. They then raised $325 million of venture funding, rapidly scaling the business to 200+ people and >$100 million in ARR. After that first 8-year journey and experiencing the pains of an ‘upgraded’ accounting system first-hand, they have decided what to throw themselves at for the next 8 years: to build DualEntry, the accounting software they needed.

What You Bring:

  • Current (and past) experience as Chief Financial Officer of a Software/Tech business

  • 10+ years of deep experience with ERP and accounting systems, especially in Software/Tech.

  • 3+ first-hand ERP implementations with Software/Tech businesses.

  • Ability to commit 1-2 hours per week, with the flexibility to scale up efforts as needed

  • Bonus: CPA/Accounting undergraduate degree and background

What You'll Do:

  • Advise on product roadmap and detailed product requirements

  • Provide user feedback on how to make the accounting/ERP software experience 10x better

  • Support with scoping product features with high attention to detail and complexity.

  • Support on creating new customer implementation checklists to create the #1 customer onboarding and implementation experience in the Software/Tech industry
